ecoCard wins “Best Prepaid Card Design” at the Prepaid365 Awards 2015


2nd June 2015 – PSI-Pay’s attractive, portrait ecoCard MasterCard has won the award for “Best Prepaid Card Design” at the Prepaid365 Awards 2015. The Prepaid365 Awards are the UK's definitive consumer Prepaid Card Awards. This year’s awards received 157 entries across 30 categories, with more than 1 million members of the public casting their votes in the consumer categories. The ecoCard attracted 70% of the public vote in the “Best Prepaid Card Design” category. Following a company-wide brand re-launch, PSI-Pay redesigned the ecoAccount and ecoCard in 2013. Before the rebrand, even the wallet part of the business was called ecoCard. PSI-Pay rebranded the associated wallet to ecoPayz to more accurately reflect what it was, a payment solution, leaving the add-on card function appropriately named the ecoCard. Following the rebrand, the ecoCard had a 39% increase in card issuance within the first 12 months with growth continuing to accelerate.
